3 Holiday Chocolate Dessert Truffle Recipes (RAW, VEGAN)

 

Chocolate Truffles

  • One cup of ground Almonds or The almond pulp left over from making almond milk.

  • Raw cacao powder - 1/4 cup for mixing in chocolate, 1/4 cup for rolling the truffles in

    when making balls

  • 1/2 T vanilla powder (or extract)

  • 1/4 cup Agave

  • 3 T melted coconut oil

  • Pinch of salt

Mix everything in a bowl, expect 1/4 cup of cacao.
With hands, form into balls and roll in the 1/4 cup of raw cacao.

 

Chocolate Coconut Truffles

  • One cup of ground almonds or the almond pulp left over from making almond milk. 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 T vanilla powder
  • 1/3 cup Agave
  • 6 T melted coconut oil 1/2 cup coconut Pinch of salt

Mix everything in a bowl, expect 1/4 cup of cacao.
With hands, form into balls and roll in the 1/4 cup of raw cacao.

 

Almond Chocolate Chip Truffles

  • One cup of ground almonds or the almond pulp left over from making almond milk. 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 T vanilla powder
  • 1/4 cup Agave
  • 3 T melted coconut oil
  • 2 T currants
  • 2 T cacao nibs (the chocolate chips) 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Mix everything in a bowl, expect 1/4 cup of cacao.
With hands, form into balls and roll in the 1/4 cup of raw cacao.

 

These sweet treats are guilty-free, fun to make and excellent for healthy parties, snacks, desserts, and hostess gifts. Since they are all made with coconut oil, which melts at 72 degrees, they must be kept refrigerated until you serve them. Take out 30 minutes before serving for best texture. You can also make double or triple batches and freeze them the future.
