Vegan Caesar Salad Dressing Recipe
This yummy, garlicky, vegan Caesar substitute tastes as close to a classic Caesar as you can get without using dairy.
The recipe makes 24oz and lasts two weeks. In a *blender place these ingredients, in this order:
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup wheat-free Tamari
- 2 T Miso
- Five cloves garlic
- Two celery stalks
- 2-3 pitted dates
- 1 T Chia Seeds
- Two t salt
- 1/2 t ground pepper
Blend on high for 1 minute.
Chill in a glass jar in the fridge for 2-3 hours or until it gets firm for a Caesar-like dressing.
Use as a spread on wraps sandwiches, as a veggie dip, or toss in romaine lettuce for a delicious vegan Caesar salad!
*You’ll need a high-speed blender to get a smooth, thick consistency dressing.
